Nominate your choice for the IOG's Groundsman's Groundsman of the Year Award today by simply clicking here.
Anyone can nominate and anyone can be nominated - this is the 'people's choice' award and is open to everyone in all sports, all sectors and at all levels.
We want to know who you think has achieved great things over the last 12 months, so make your nomination today - it's quick and easy and means that you will have a say in who gets recognised for doing a great job.
Who can I nominate?
This is entirely up to you. If you think someone has done an exceptional job and stands head and shoulders above his or her peers then make a nomination.
It may be that they have succeeded against the odds - adverse weather conditions didn't stop play, great surfaces produced despite limited budgets, pioneering use of new technology, great team work produced great pitches, exceptional management skills delivered exceptional pitches.
These are just a few examples, but whatever your reason for nominating make sure you do it so that great groundsmanship and great achievements are rightly recognised.
Once all nominations are received a shortlist of the most worthy nominees will be added to the IOG's website and a vote will take place to allow them to crown the overall winner of the 2009 Groundsman's Groundsman of the Year.
