Case Study: St Annes CC and AG Leisure

St Annes CC in Lancashire is one of the most successful sports clubs in the area. The club is focused on attracting families and has a thriving all year round social membership of over 1,300.

The relationship between AG Leisure and St Annes CC is now in its third year. Sponsorship is provided by AG Leisure as well as a quiz machine which generates another income stream for the Club.

John Gee of AG Leisure commented “My company has a very good relationship with the committee at St Annes, we generate good revenue from the quiz machine which is split 50:50 and we look to pump money back into the Club via sponsorship. We have a large advertising board on the perimeter and attend a sponsors' day each year where the Club looks after us. I think they are a perfect example of how to run a successful establishment and I am pleased to be associated with them.”

Have one or more Quiz or Games Machines installed in your Clubhouse or Pavilion by one of our Partner Suppliers and earn 50% of the net cash box takings for your Club. Clubs with expected annual takings of £2,000 or more qualify for Sponsorship worth £150.00 each year.

How it works

An initial telephone consultation with our Partner Suppliers professionals will determine the most suitable machine(s) for your Club - this may be a quiz machine, pool table, jukebox, space invader table or pinball machine. NB These are NOT fruit machines or similar, and are not governed by the Gaming Laws.

During this consultation, you may be asked for some information about your Club to determine whether your Club will qualify for the sponsorship (at the sole discretion of our Partner Supplier). This will enable them to understand your membership numbers and profile, number of teams/events, and club opening times (e.g. weekdays/weekends and seasonal/all year).

The machines are owned, installed, maintained and insured by our Partner Supplier. There is no outlay by the Club. The Supplier covers its costs by taking a share of the cash collections each month.

The cash box will be emptied every month, either by the Supplier or by a nominated Club official as agreed between the Club and Supplier. The total takings from the cash box will be taken by (or sent to) the Supplier, with a signed cash collection sheet to certify the collections as a true record. The takings will be validated periodically using security devices contained within the machines. Takings will be split 50:50 between the Supplier and the Club after a 10% deduction to cover ClubNet's administration costs. The Club will receive its share of the takings with ClubNet’s regular quarterly payment cycle.

Monthly Collection Process

Bank the full amount of the collection using the paying-in book supplied by AG Leisure	Last working day
