Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum purchase commitment?

No.  By signing up with Matthew Clark, you are under no obligation to spend a minimum amount, and there is no minimum contract period.  All they require is that each order is for at least £100, to make the delivery viable.

How does the ordering process work?

Once you have opened an account with Matthew Clark, you can order by phone, fax, email or internet.

What about deliveries?

Deliveries are made in timed delivery slots, and 90% of deliveries are made on Matthew Clark's own fleet of vehicles.  Because Matthew Clark are a one stop shop, you'll receive composite loads - i.e. all the products on a single delivery.

We have a brewery loan.  Are we eligible to use Matthew Clark?

It's definitely worth talking to them.  Many clubs have brewery loans which can tie them to expensive prices.  However, in some cases, it may be possible to rearrange the loan through Matthew Clark so that the terms are more favourable.  It's best to discuss your Club's specific circumstances directly with Matthew Clark, who can explain the options.

We currently buy our Bar Supplies from a Cash and Carry.  Is it still worth us talking to Matthew Clark?

If your Club buys relatively small volumes, it may be that the Cash and Carry prices will be cheaper.  But don't forget to include the full cost of going to the Cash and Carry when making a comparison - your time is valuable, and each journey costs you petrol.
